Aspects of the Asturian Culture

A "Cultural Aspect" is understood to be each set of item of the culture that define it and that belong to it. The main difference between the aspects and the elements of a culture is that the elements are a formal classification, while the aspects are more intuitive and closer to common knowledge.

The aspects of a culture comprise such elements as the gastronomy, the characters, the landscape, the art or the history, among others.

This classification is not closed and may not be exchanged between cultures, since each of these aspects may have a different importance in different cultures. In the case of Asturias, we have identified 10 cultural aspects that define Asturian culture from the point of view of UbiCamp. These are: The University; History; Art; Heritage; Geography; Leisure; Tourism; Gastronomy; Economy, and Characters.

To get to know more about any of these aspects of the Asturian culture, clic on any of them and you will be shown all the contents related to that topic.
